Steven B. Beranek

Steven is an accomplished attorney with a strong background in commercial and civil litigation, including employer/employee relations, Uniform Commercial Code, secured transactions and real estate matters. Steve has also been successful in representing clients in a wide variety of matters including breach of contract matters, shareholder disputes, non-compete disputes, litigation of bankruptcy and probate issues and claims, foreclosure actions, intentional tort actions, patent and trademark infringement claims, antitrust claims, products liability claims, sexual harassment claims, mechanics’ lien filings and cases involving violation of Federal RICO statutes. He has handled large and varied caseloads at all levels of the judicial system.

Steven is a 1996 graduate of the University of Akron School of Law with a Juris Doctorate and was named “Outstanding Student in Trial Advocacy”. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Political Science from Allegheny College in Pennsylvania where he was named “Outstanding Student in Philosophy” his junior year. Since then he has practiced law at the Law Offices of Brent L. English in Cleveland and Corsaro & Associates, Co., L.P.A in Westlake, as the Head of the Commercial Litigation Department. Steven is an active member of the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers. He has also taught at numerous continuing education seminars. Steven is admitted to practice in all Ohio Courts, United States Federal Courts for the Northern District of Ohio and the Eastern District of Michigan, and the United States Circuit Court for the Sixth Circuit.
