Heidi K. McGlamery
Heidi is a shareholder and member of Stumphauzer O'Toole's Board of Directors. As a member of the firm, Heidi's practice focuses in the areas of business law, business sales and acquisitions, real estate transactions and nonprofit organizations. In her practice, Heidi has handled numerous business and real estate sales and acquisitions ranging in value from less than One Hundred Thousand Dollars to in excess of Fifteen Million Dollars.
Heidi's strong work ethic, focus and determination are evidenced by the fact that she obtained her undergraduate degree from Baldwin-Wallace College in just two years. Heidi then obtained her law degree from Ohio State University and was admitted to the Ohio bar in 1998.
For the last three consecutive years, Heidi has been honored as a "Rising Star Super Lawyer" by Law & Politics Magazine and Cincinnati Magazine. This award is a great honor, as only approximately 2.5% of the best up-and-coming attorneys (aged 40 or younger or in practice 10 years or less) are selected to receive this award.
In addition to her law practice, Heidi is actively involved in the greater Lorain County community through volunteer work and involvement on several local boards. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of Lorain County, Inc., the Firelands Association for the Visual Arts (FAVA, Secretary 2005-2007), and the Lorain County Law Library Association (President 2006-2007). Heidi is a member of the Development Committee for the Community Foundation of Lorain County, and she has been instrumental in helping to organize the first Giving Circle for the Foundation. She is also a member of the Lorain County and Ohio State Bar Associations.
Heidi's experience includes:
- The representation of corporations, limited liability companies, and other entities from formation forward, including issues involving choice of entity, corporate governance, owner relationships, and general business planning and counseling.
- The negotiation and documentation of the sale and purchase of businesses, both through asset purchase agreements and stock or unit purchase agreements.
